About us
Our stated meeting is held every first Friday of the month at 5:30 P.M. Our Lodge was formerly located at Cabagñan, Legazpi City. It is now at Seville Compound, Doña Maria Subdivision, Tagas, Daraga, Albay 4501 Philippines. On a prime lot generouly donated by VW Ellizer R. Seville, Jr, PDDGM and his loving wife Sister Margarita.
Lodge History
Mayon Lodge No. 61 was conceived in Legazpi City by transient Freemasons in 1920. Its Charter was approved by the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines on June 2, 1921 and no less than MW Edwin E. Elser, incumbent Grand Master then, assisted by MW Francisco Delgado, Past Grand Master, presented the Charter and installed the following officers;
Worshipful Master - William C. Ogan (Prov. Treasurer of Albay)
Senior Warden - Lot Dean Lockwood (Lawyer)
Junior Warden - Felipe Manalang (PNB Manager)
Treasurer - Gavino Rentor
Secretary - Ceferino Ramnos
Other appointed officers were Rev. Roy H. Brown who later became President of Silliman University, Arlington C. Betts – First Civil Governor of Albay, William H. Pickell – Division Superintendent of Schools, Benito Trinidad, judge of the Court of First Instance, Lazaro Tani – Businessman, Ceferino Villareal – Municipal Judge of Legazpi, Feliciano Imperial – Mayor of Legazpi City, Kenneth MacDonald – Builder of Milwaukee Hospital, Founder of United Institute and Albay Evangelical Church.
Degree work was done with the assistance of Brethren from Isarog Lodge No. 33, located in Naga City, Camarines Sur. It was led by WB Mariano de la Rosa, former justice of the Court of Appeals, WB Julian Ocampo, former Governor of Camarines Sus, Mariano Abella and Jose Garchitorena who were landowners and businessmen. The first petitioners were Juan Esteves, who later became Philippine National Bank Manager, Cebu City branch, Antonio Buenaventura, educator and Manuel Calleja, Albay Governor.

Isarog Lodge No. 33 F. & A.M., Naga City, Camarines Sur
Bulusan Lodge No. 38 F. & A.M., Sorsogon City, Sorsogon
Bulusan Lodge No. 38 in Sorsogon started as a Triangulo in 1916 but its charter was issued in February 1917. A determined group of brethren in Sorsogon, most of them transients, held an organizational meeting on board SS Batangueño, a merchant ship then plying between Manila and Sorsogon. The pioneers were Aurelio Diokno – Worshipful Master (Ship Captain), Bernabe Flores – Sr. Warden, Leoncio Gojo – Jr. Warden, Alfonso Escudero – Treasurer, Marino Olondriz – Secretary, Jose Figueroa – Orator, Aurelio Martinez – Master of Ceremonies, Pedro Paguio – Almoner, and Simeon Marquez –
Mayon Lodge No. 61 F. & A.M., Daraga, Albay
Camarines Norte Lodge No. 107 F & A.M., Daet, Camarines Norte
Like the disciples assisting the Master, twelve Masons, organized Camarines Norte Lodge No.107, which had its charter approved on May 25,1932 by MW Antonio Gonzales and attested by Grand Secretary Newton C. Comfort, PGM, Installed the following; Jose Munlain – Worshipful master, Felipe Fernando – Sr. Warden, Jose Dantos – Jr. Warden, Luis Miguel – Treasurer, Elmer O. Worrick – Secretary, Mariano Sta. Romana –Chaplain, Clemente Bernabe – Marshall, Basilio Peña – Sr. Deacon, Alfredo Suabillo – Jr. Deacon, Antonio Baltazar – Senior Steward, Ban Bok – Jr. Steward, and Tranquilino Natera – Tyler.

Daet Lodge No. 247 F. & A.M., Daet, Camarines Norte
Naga City Lodge No. 257 F. & A.M., Naga City, Camarines Sur

Ma-Bu-Ti Lodge No. 329 F. & A.M., Masbate City, Masbate
